Executive Director

The ideal candidate will be able to share the vision for the future of Quigley House both internally and externally, while understanding the specifics of what it takes to be a first-class domestic violence and sexual assault center.  Desired attributes include strong interpersonal skills, open and honest communications, demonstrated ability to manage people, desire to tackle challenges head on, and capacity to represent Quigley House to a broad array of community audiences. 

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in the domestic violence field, or 4 years of leadership experience and two years’ experience in the domestic violence field.  Working knowledge of nonprofit financials, contract compliance and management, and organizational sustainability.  Additional relevant education and prior work with Boards of Directors are a plus.

Starting salary is $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.  Deadline application is June 24, 2026.

Operations Director

Quigley House is creating a new position that will be responsible for basic accounting functions and human resources.  The ability to work in QuickBooks and to track grants and contracts are essential, as well as the capacity to provide payroll support and oversight of HR policies and procedures, files, and benefits.  The successful candidate will need to be able to both be part of a team and a leader, well organized and detail focused, and warm and approachable.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree or other formal training in accounting principles, as well as at least two years’ experience working in the nonprofit sector with braided funding streams.  Working knowledge of nonprofit financials, contract compliance and management, and organizational sustainability.

Starting salary in $70,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience.  Deadline application is June 24, 2026.

Resident Advocate

Quigley House, a certified Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center, is looking for a Full Time Resident Advocate to add to our staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School diploma or GED required, 1 year crisis intervention with victims of domestic violence preferred. Certification in first aid and C.P.R. also preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office (or equivalent) and data entry. All Resident Advocates must successfully complete ACT and CORE Comp training. All Resident Advocates must be willing to submit to drug screening and extensive background checks. Must be willing to work mid shifts and overnights, as well as weekends and holidays. Resident Advocates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Resident Advocates must be willing to work holidays, weekends and other shifts as requested by the Director Domestic Violence Services.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide domestic violence and sexual assault participant advocacy services, daily to include, but not limited to, the following: Providing crisis intervention and information/referral to hotline callers. Performing all required victim follow-ups and record keeping. Service management and follow-up to include: Safety planning with all participants. Providing advocacy, crisis intervention and information and referrals (including referrals for community resources and services as appropriate) to shelter residents. Participate in service management meetings, as required, assist with file maintenance and submit monthly statistical reports, per funding requirements. Assisting domestic violence victims with filing victim’s compensation claims. Provide shelter-based services to residents, including but not limited to: Orientation with new residents regarding communal living and assisting new residents in meeting their immediate needs (food, clothing, toiletry items, etc). Providing crisis intervention and emotional support to residents. Conduct intake and exit interviews with any person who is admitted or discharged from the shelter. Review all intake and exits to ensure accuracy and completion of records. Arrange transportation of participants as appropriate.
